I Bleed Purple?
In my continuing struggle to go back to school, I have decided that a change of schools might be in order. I am currently trying to save up the money to go back, but Natalie said that she would help me apply to Weber State to see if I could get in up there and make my tuition payment a little easier and maybe even get a scholarship. I pulled a 3.7 out of my semester at the U of U, and that was while I was working two jobs and taking 17 credit hours. I would miss having my school just right up the street from where I work, and of course the great teachers like Mark Matheson, but I do feel like I need to get back into school. I miss constantly learning new things and the challenges that school provided. I also think that school would help me meet new people and keep me busy so I don't feel like I am just waiting for my friends to come back home.

DO IT!!!!
I think going back to school is a good step for you now that you've had a good break. If you're gonna bleed purple, there are worse things in the world (like being true-blue).
I can't wait to see what you'll do next!!
Hey Kitty
Weber State is a great school. I can recommend great teachers and you could always say who your brother is and get instant positive recognition. I'm glad that you are considering it.
This one semester on and one semester off is the slow boat to a college degree. Take out sudent loans if you have to but try to go full-time until you are done.
I would be supportive of you going back to school, no matter which school it is. I will wait for you to ask this time, however, before I try to help you. I think you felt like I pushed you into going to the U of U after high school and I don't want you to feel pressured to go back until you are ready. I believe in education. Knowing is always better than not knowing. Meeting people and making friends adds great value to life. Having money is better than not having money. Being able to take care of yourself is better than being dependent on someone else to do it for you.
