Because there are days...

I know that I complain about hard days at work a lot, but most days I REALLY do love my job.

This picture was taken right after we ROCKED out 31 cent scoop night. You try making over $250 in an hour when ice cream is only 31 cents! But with these people working with me, it all went really smoothly and several people commented that they could tell that we had done this before, when it was a first for all of us.

I have been REALLY busy with cake sales lately. Two weeks ago I sold 104 cakes in one week, and the week after that I sold 102. While doing that, I was also working on the back-up Mother's Day cakes. I sold 139 cakes this week, but I got CREAMED by the other stores since they are all more residential than I am. I worked my butt of though, so at least no one can say that it was because I didn't try.

This is Meghan, my other cake decorator. This was her last week though. :(

Both of these pictures were taking in out tiny cake corner where we make all those cakes and normally beat out the other stores with at least twice as much room as we have.

Even though I am still looking for a replacement cake decorator, I LOVE the other people that I work with too!

Sarah, the manager of the store, works almost as much as I do. She takes care of A LOT of things at the store and is usually either working on something for the store or being called with most of the problems that people have.

These people also help keep work fun and can help make a bad day into a good one. :)

We have a lot of fun. :)

And always hard workers...

... most of the time anyways... :)

You spend a lot of time with the people at work and it is so important that you can get along with them. It is a bonus when you actually like them or when a few turn out to be good friends. These are cute pictures and it does look like you guys have some fun along with all the work.
