Known to: sleep under the covers, or to go on walks with various owners, sit down whenever a car passes, try and reach for the doorknob to get outside, and claw people's butts when he can't get them to open the door for him.
Suspects: Scout, Dante, Zepher and Dakota - the other kitties that invaded his domain and never got along with him since.

You should try calling the animal control in case someone turned him in, and maybe put up signs around the neighborhood. I'm sure you're doing all you can. This is just desperate advice from someone who is too far away to help. =(

Thanks Chelsee! I feel so helpless, so thank you for doing whatever you can to find him. He's the best one!
I tried the Animal Control today. He wasn't there. They told me that they wouldn't have killed him yet, so if they had picked him up he still woild have been there. We searched the regular kennels and then were even taken back into the hospitol wing for the sick kitties, and he was no where to be found. They did take all of my information though, so if he comes in, they will call me.
Add to the list of suspects the jumbo sewer rat that got his tail.
I hope you can find Mael.

It is so sad to have our sweet Mael missing. Geoffrey has such a tender heart and is so upset, imagining every terrible thing that could have happened to Mael, that we had to play games last night to keep his mind off of it.
I suspect that Wesley is right and Mael just got into one fight too many with the neighborhood critters. But we still leave the back door open in case he comes home.
