Idiot

Last week, a man came into Baskin and asked for my boss. I told him that my boss was out of town, so the guy handed me a bunch of papers saying that Justin had to pay for the damage done to his car in our parking lot. I automatically assumed that he meant that another car had hit him, so I asked him why Justin was liable for the damage. He took me outside and showed me our cement barriers that make it so that you can't drive into the Wendy's drive through. Apparently the man hit them, denting his front bumper and he wants my boss to pay for it. The bill was around $600 dollars for fixing the bumper and the paint job over it. I was kind of looking at the guy like he was a moron and told him that I would let Justin know about it. The man got all pissy and said that he wouldn't come down here and make a fuss if Justin wasn't liable for it. He said that the cement barriers were installed wrong so that they come up to high, and enough other people had hit them that they were all jagged. I was still thinking that he was an idiot for running into them, but I told him again that I would let Justin know. He said that if Justin didn't pay for it, then he would come back and have his lawyer talk to both of us, because apparently, I was being snotty. Good luck suing me for that one buddy.
