While Sarah has been out of town, I have trying to get a lot of the things done in the store that have been on her to-do list for a while, and haven't gotten done. The biggest thing were a lot of the light in the store were out. I changed 7 light bulbs in the back that were out, replaced a light cover in the back, two light bulbs in the cake case, and one in the sherbet freezer. The last one was the hardest one to find since it is a custom size, but I finally tracked it down. When I went in on Tuesday, I got Laura to help me put it in. I was just doing it all by tough since I could see what I was doing, and it is one of those ones where you don't screw it in, but you push it in to make it fit. Laura had her side in, and I was working on getting my side in. I must have been touching the wrong thing though, because as soon as I was close to getting it in, it electrocuted me!
I screamed. It hurt so bad! It seems like forever for me to let go, but really, it was only a second. I felt really dumb for screaming though. There were customers sitting down, and two more had just walked into the store. My boss was also there. The shock burned a part of my thumb. I had a little circle of dead skin. My thumb was bright red and it took a while for my hand and the rest of my arm to feel right. When my boss asked if I was alright, I really just wanted to cry. I just kept running my finger under cold water, even though it hurt to do it.
The funny part to this story, is that one of the women asked, "Was it a SPIDER?!?" I just thought it funny that I'm screaming from being electrocuted, and the first thing that she thinks of is a spider. It's funny the different things that we are afraid of.

I'm sorry you got electrocuted, but that is really funny that someone asked if there was a spider. I got a good chuckle from your story.
