One Less

I am officially One Less! I got my last Gardasil shot yesterday, so like on all the commercials, I am officially one less woman that will have to worry about cervical cancer! I was really nervous to get my last shot, but Kennedy distracted me by talking to me about other things while I was waiting to get it. Then, when the lady was about to give it to me, she said, "Do you want me to tell you when I'm going to do it, or just do it?" I said "Just do it!" It always hurts a little when they put it in, but luckily, this last one didn't hurt me any more than any of the others. So, I got off easy with these shots. They are supposed to be really painful. Amber got them and said it felt like liquid fire under her skin.

I also took my Final for my photography class on Monday. I didn't get to study as much as I wanted, to I missed a few questions I probably would have gotten right, but that's okay. For example, in case anyone wanted to know, your digital censor in your camera records information in back and white, not color. And, it doesn't do negatives like film, it records information in ones and zeroes. At least it is over now. I have been working a lot, and he gave us over 700 pages to review, so I am just glad it's over.

Yesterday Kennedy and I went and took some pictures for my calender. I wanted to re-create the picture of us kissing Santa Claus that we did in High School. It didn't really work how I wanted, but we got some cute pictures.

While kissing Santa Claus, Kennedy, Geoffrey and I witnessed a car accident right next to us on the street. Being the first responder that I am, I was the first person to call the police. The two men had gotten out of their cars and were just swearing at each other, so I took the initiative before things got even uglier.

Wow, I'm sure glad that it wasn't you in the accident!

Good job on getting done with your final. I know you've been working hard and have been really stressed... hopefully now you can relax and enjoy your Christmas holiday!

These are really cute pictures. I admire you for working consistently through your photography classes while you are also working. I know that is not an easy thing to do, but you just stick to it. That is a good quality that will serve you well.
