Moving Out!
I am officially moving out!! I signed the contrat to move into Pebble Creek earlier today. They said I can move in Saturday June 23rd! :) I am really excited!
WOW, Chelsee! Good for you! I totally know that you're old enough to live on your own, and I truly think you'll love it, but part of me had a bit of a hard time reading this. Is our little girl really so old?
Congrats, Chelsee! I think you'll love having your own place. Jay's already talking about all the things we can give you, and if you need anything else, we'd be happy to help.
I can probably give you some stuff too--I know I have some extra dishes, a little crock pot, and who knows what else! You're gonna love living alone. I know I did!
As Red says in "Shawshank Redemption": "I find I'm so excited, I can't sit still or hold a thought in my head!" I experience this vicarious thrill whenever one of my children gets to live on their own. I know how much I wanted to have a place of my own when I was your age. I like the apartment that you have chosen and I am glad you held out for Pebble Creek, so you wouldn't have to pay a deposit. There are some advantages to having the dad you have, right? I hope that you will be happy at your new place and I am sure I will still see you quite often. It's cool that so many people have offered to help you move. Maybe we can also go bed-hunting so it can be delivered on the 23rd.
