Last Wednesday, I needed to find someone to come and model for my class, and someone to model for me for my new assignment in People. Finally Jennifer agreed to help me. She doesn't like having her picture taken. She only agreed to help me because I was having a hard time finding people to come do it and she wanted to help me.
Not only did Jennifer come and model for my entire class, she brought a book and read for another hour and a half waiting for me to get out of my second class so that I could have more time to take pictures of her in the studio AND outside. We were taking pictures from 8:45 am to around 2:30.
It meant so much to me that Jennifer was willing to come and do this for me!! It was so nice of her to just come and do it for me even though she didn't even want to. I like feeling like people think I am important enough that they can take the time to come and help me out with school, especially with how hard this semester has been.
So, sad story though. I was the first person to start taking pictures of Jennifer for my whole class thing. Then I had to rotate to other people, and everyone in my class has to get to everyone else.
After my second class when we got back into the studio, I could tell something was wrong. Jennifer is normally really happy and energetic. When I was working with her the second time, I could tell that she was really stiff, so I asked her what was wrong. She said that a couple of people in my class had told her that she smiled too big and needed to do pictures without smiling. They didn't mean to hurt her feelings, but they really did. By the second time with me, she was trying hard to not smile.
