The Holiday

Yesterday I went and saw the Holiday after I got off from work. I loved it! I have been really excited to see this movie, and it was even better than I thought it was going to be!

I am always worried about Cameron Diaz in a movie, but she is getting better and did a good job in this movie. Jude Law, Kate Winslet and Jack Black also did a great job! And even the supporting cast are well know actors. (Or at least I know them all.) Bur, Rufus Sewell is in it. He plays Marco in Dangerous Beauty. And Jack Black's girlfriend is the princess in a Knight's Tale, etc...

I could relate better with Kate Winslet then with Cameron Diaz, but part of what I loved about this movie was that there were things about both people that I could relate to. Even though there were basically four main characters, they all have great character development.

And, of course, the music is done by Hanz Zimmer! So, add this soundtrack to my Christmas List!

There are also funny movie jokes along in it. It was interesting to see who in the audience caught them. It was generally a lot of the older people laughing. (Older meaning, not the 2 ten year-olds sitting close to me.) And, just for Allison, there is even a scene with James Franco.

I know it is a chick-flick, so Wesley probably wouldn't like it, but I would recommend it to anyone else. It is a feel-good movie that I really needed. (no one gets shot in the head in this one!) And, if anyone wants company, I would happily go with anyone and everyone! I was ready to see it again as soon as I walked out of the theatre!
