Monday, the Baskin Robbins in Holiday was robbed by a man with red hair and a red moustache. He sat outside the store and watched for a while, went in and ordered, and then said he had to go back out to his car to get his money. When he came back in, he had a knife and robbed them.I was at Kjersti's house when I saw this on the news. Justin's two new stores are the Taylorsville and West Valley stores, so it wasn't his store that got robbed. I called him and asked him about it anyways though. He said that he wouldn't have put it on the news. He said that it causes more problems to have people know that someone got away with robbing the store, then by putting the description of the guy out there. We both agreed that the guy had to be completely dumb to rob and ice cream store in the middle of the winter though. I found out later that the guy only got $70.
However, Tuesday night, he also robbed Justin's Sugarhouse Baskin. When Justin called the police, they told him that the same guy had also robbed three other stores earlier that day. He is probably not going to stop until he gets caught. not having learned his lesson from robbing the other Baskin, though, the guy only got $50. I sure hope that's worth the jail time. Maybe it will help him post bail...

Just stay safe. That's all I really want. I'm so glad you're not working tomorrow, hopefully if your store gets robbed it will be tomorrow and you'll be safe at home with baby Isaac sleeping on your shoulder.
That said, who uses a knife to rob places anymore? Or commit any crime for that matter? I understand that it can be dangerous, but if he lunged at you with a counter between you couldn't you just step backwards? Stab avoided. Am I alone on this one?
Lol. I figure I would just give him the whole $20 that we had, and let him be on his way. :)
Actually, since both stores said that he sat outside for a while, I watched all of the cars come into the parking lot. If any of them had red haired men, I would have called the police, and if they even sat in their car too long, I wrote down their license plate number.
Chelsee! This is sounding like it is not a safe job for you... stockers and robbers. Why don't you come work with me as a file clerk! We'd give you benefits and lots of money! :)
Yeah, Kjersti, I agree with you about the knife thing. I'm just glad it's not a gun.
